Many Bruneians now live overseas and outside of Brunei, the majority have migrated to Anglophone countries, including the United Kingdom, where there are around 9,500 Bruneians, the United States, where approximately 7,000 Bruneians reside, around 5,000 people are still living in Australia and 1,500 est. people in New Zealand.
